Join us for a reoccurring event right in the middle of the city, packed with plant-based food, local and unique crafts, music and a great atmosphere where everyone is welcome!

Our goal is to create a platform in Gothenburg that focuses on local crafts & food, while inspiring everyone to see what is possible while being fully plant-based!
The Vegan Market in Gothenburg is not only about the (plant-based) food, but also about supporting the local community and showcasing what our city has to offer to both locals and visitors from afar. Whether you are vegan, vegetarian or hardcore meat eater, we don’t judge, but we encourage you to join us and see for yourself what Gothenburg has to offer. For the very least, we are sure you will have a good time at the market.
Every iteration, we have around 25+ vendors from Gothenburg and around. Plenty of food, sweet treats and other things that make you say out loud ‘is this really vegan?’. On top of that, we have a variety of local crafts that will wow you with their handmade pieces. Everything from illustrations, to ceramics and cosmetics. In need of a treat for someone dear? We are sure you will find something here!
Of course, we want to make your stay worthwhile with a bar full of freshly made drinks (alcohol-free, of course), and invite DJs and sometimes musicians to create some unique entertainment. Everyone is welcome to join us and have a good time!

Absolutely. All of our vendors will serve only vegan goods, that includes food, snacks and all crafts.
We double check and verify with all of them before the markets, so you can feel safe.

Nope. We want the events to be inclusive to everyone, no matter of age, belief or other implications. Alcohol is therefore not a thing at our market.
However, the markets take place in central Gothenburg, so you will be able to find places that serve alcohol nearby.

Of course! We love snouts and our markets are dog friendly. We make sure there are plenty of water bowls for the thirsty canines, and are happy to take pictures of their happy faces!

Every market has roundabout 5000 visitors from Gothenburg and around throughout the day.
The markets are centrally located, so we also have plenty of pass-by visitors, but during the Summer months we also see plenty of tourists from afar joining us. It’s quite the feast, but since we are in an open space, there are also plenty of areas to keep your distance if crowds make you feel overwhelmed.
